This certificate is issued to acknowledge that the MCPC Secure Technology Asset Disposition Group (STAD) received donated material as part of the E-Recycling Event on 11/15/2023. MCPC performs data sanitization on all data-bearing devices destined for reuse in accordance with US DoD 5220.22-M and NIST SP 800-88 R1 guidelines and satisfies the regulatory standards set forth by HIPAA, the GLB Act, PCI and the California Security Breach Information Act.

MCPC secure disposition processes were developed to prioritize the waste management hierarchy and MCPC makes every effort to remarket each piece of equipment received before turning to recycling options. When an asset is determined to no longer be viable it is deconstructed and recycled by approved downstream vendors who meet specific environmental, tracking and accountability requirements set forth by MCPC and based on the e-Stewards® Standard for Ethical and Responsible Reuse, Recycling and Disposition of Electronic Equipment and Information Technology version 4.0©.
